Privacy notice

Website enquiries and contact data.

This notice explains how personal data submitted through owldiligence.com or sent to the Owl Diligence contact address is handled at the website-enquiry and pre-engagement stage.

Pre-launch notice. Owl Diligence is currently operated as a project by Dominik Sowa. Engagement-specific privacy, confidentiality and data-processing terms may be agreed separately when a client engagement begins.

Controller and contact

For website enquiries, the controller is Dominik Sowa, operating the Owl Diligence project in Poland. Contact: contact@owldiligence.com.

Data we collect

  • name and business contact details;
  • company name and jurisdiction;
  • the service you are interested in;
  • information you voluntarily include in the enquiry message;
  • technical information required to operate and secure the website and contact form.

Please do not submit identity documents, special-category personal data, criminal-record material or other sensitive personal information through the public contact form.

Why we use it

We use enquiry data to respond to requests, understand potential engagement scope, take steps requested before entering into a contract, maintain appropriate business records and protect the website and contact process from misuse. The applicable legal basis depends on the context of the enquiry and may include steps taken at your request before a contract and legitimate interests in business communication and security.

Service providers

The website and contact workflow use third-party technology providers for hosting, security and email delivery, currently including Cloudflare and Resend. Data may therefore be processed by those providers in accordance with their contractual and data-protection arrangements.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the potential business relationship and meet applicable legal or claims-related requirements. A more specific retention schedule may apply once a client engagement begins.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. To exercise a right or raise a privacy question, contact contact@owldiligence.com.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards are expected to apply under the relevant provider arrangements.

Changes

This notice may be updated as the business, website and processing arrangements develop. The current version is published on this page.
